  The projects currently under implementation include:

  GMCANA Auditorium Complex
  GMCANA Seminar Hall
  Obstetrics and Gynecology wing with new delivery rooms
  A new wing at Fever Hospital, Guntur
  Urology Equipment

 We have spent or committed to spend, on the projects mentioned above, more than Rs.3 Crores to date.  And yet, we consider our sweat equity and assessment that went into each project before implementation to be the more significant achievement.
The projects that cannot be successfully implemented without reforms include Intensive Care Unit with state of the art Ventilators, Dialysis Unit, Cardiac Surgery unit, hospital ambulance, significant expansion of Biochemistry lab. services, central Sterilizer etc., to name just a few.  In addition, the benefits from existing programmes and services to patients and medical students cannot be fully realized without the suggested reforms.

Our potential is enormous in terms of help in improving facilities and   programmes as well as CME activities.   If the insights we gained during the last three years, in the form of our ‘Comprehensive Proposal’ help develop a better ‘system’, it will be even more gratifying and will help us accelerate our efforts to improve Medical Education and patient care at our Teaching Hospitals and Medical Colleges.   None of us is seeking jobs, money, land or influence.  Our only interest is in the development of our parent institutions and our Janma Bhoomi.
