MESSAGE

                        It gives me great pleasure to associate my self with the Golden jubilee Cdlebrations of Guntur Medical College, Guntur. This institution hasn grown from  time to time and it has reached its peak and most eminently the Staff and students are celebrating the Golden Jubilee on a grand scale.

                        I am indeed very proud that I happen to be both under-graduate and post-graduate student of this great institution. I studied my first MBBS during the years 1950-52 and I did my post-graduate in Microbiology during the year 1959-61. I still recall my teachers in early 50s Dr. Govinda Menon, Dr. Sitharama Rao, Dr. Sara J. Souri, Dr. d. V. Subba Reddy, Dr. c. Sitaramaiah and Dr. C. Venkataramaiah and host of other junior faculty members to whom I would like to  pay my respects. As a post-graduate student I would like to recall my association with late Dr.D. Jagannatha Reddy and late Dr. B. Ramnarayan Murthy, under whose guidance I blossomed as a Microbiologist. The memory of the past days spend by me at Guntur Medical College is ever green in my memory. I wish the great institution to continue to be prosperous and produce academicians of eminence. I owe a debt of gratitude to my alumns for what I am today.
